Waterford: adventure sports

Saludos, familia LCT. Seguimos con las estupendas actividades que están teniendo lugar en Waterford, Irlanda. Tenemos muchas fotos que compartir. ¡A disfrutar!

ADVENTURE SPORTS PARK

Today we have a lot of new experiences at the adventure sports park where we can have a go at archery, climbing, balance on crates, and traditional Irish games with logs. After lunch, we leave Tagoat for Wexford, a fishing town with a pedestrian area full of shopping opportunities. At the end of the day, we celebrate all things green as a symbol of Ireland wearing hats and beards Leprechaun style, and making new friendships.

A VISIT TO DUBLIN

Early risers get to Dublin first. It's sunny as we stroll to Christ Church cathedral, Dublin Castle, Trinity College and The Spire. The Irish instructors teach us many interesting snippets about this lively city. After lunch, we have some spare time to go shopping.

WORKSHOPS AND SPORTS

Today it's all about games and workshops. Despite our initial shyness, we even give it a try to the dancing classes from Sara, owner of a dancing academy. Later on, we go to the Omniplex cinema in downtown Waterford. It's very pleasant to realize we can grasp most of a film's plot in English.

We are slowly getting used to early mornings. Sports today include volleyball, gaelic football, hurling and badminton. When you are getting to know another culture, a fundamental part of it is trying the local sports. It might be a little overwhelming at first, but it is definitely fun. In the evening, we visit another fishing town, Tramore, where we have fun like kids at a children's park before a frantic battle at Laserblast.

Keep in touch for our next stop at St. Tiernan's.
