Summer: back to Philadelphia

Saludos, familia LCT. Han pasado unos días desde que acompañamos a los estudiantes en sus aventuras por Philadelphia. ¿Hay curiosidad por las actividades que han estado realizando desde entonces?

BASEBALL AND PRACTICAL CLASSES
A baseball coach has spent the day with us at a nearby park where we have learned how to hit the ball with a bat, how to throw a ball, and all kinds of secrets about the material with which the ball is made. Not everything is about sports, so in class we have plenty of interesting activities to do with Alesia who explains about American history and the places we are visiting. At the university of Pennsylvania, we do pronunciation and vocabulary exercises, and we are now preparing for a job interview.

LOVE PARK AND CITY HALL
Philadelphia’s iconic John F. Kennedy Plaza — better known as LOVE Park — is currently receiving some much-needed love, care and 21st-century upgrades.
The overhaul to the popular public space includes adding green space, structural improvements, installing a new water feature, creating concession areas and opening up access to the park.
LOVE Park gets its nickname from Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE statue, which has resided in the space almost continuously since 1976.

That's all for now. Keep coming back for updates :-)
