Merry Christmas from LCT

Christmas time is here! Like most of you, we’ll be taking a break for the holidays, but before we leave we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We hope these special days are filled with family time, good friends, lots of joy and everything you need to come back in January feeling fresh and rested. And we are looking forward to seeing you in 2019 with more energy, ideas and activities to accompany you on every step of your learning journey!

We wish you joy, but if you're having a rough time, just accept your feelings. There is no obligation to feign happiness when it's not there. Feel confident that even sadness is temporary and keep on. Good times are coming.

A course year at a glance

Queridos amigos de LCTIDIOMAS:

El curso 2017-2018 ha concluido y una vez más echamos la vista atrás para rememorar la multitud de experiencias y actividades que hemos logrado disfrutar con la colaboración de todos. ¿Os apetece un repaso por los momentos álgidos del año académico? ¡Adelante!

We begin: October 2017 

Los alumnos empezaron a conocerse mediante actividades orales, creativas y humorísticas. Hubo tiempo para los disfraces, las canciones, los vídeos y los posters festivos.

WINTER, STORYTELLING AND BOOKDAY 2018 

Hubo días muy fríos, pero los alumnos participaron intensivamente en los talleres, las sesiones de cuentacuentos y coreografía, la invención de tecnología futurista y debates sobre la defensa de los valores medioambientales, los vídeos con expresiones culturales, las búsquedas del tesoro en Semana Santa (Easter time), los juegos didácticos, las bromas con los profesores y las buenas relaciones de amistad con los compañeros. Incluso algunos se quedaron para las clases de verano que, por primera vez este año, ha celebrado un taller de fotografía. ¡Todo un éxito!

SUMMER 2018 

Nos despedimos por ahora con muy buenos recuerdos, muchas horas de trabajo y dedicación también. Nuestro profesorado internacional se tomará un descanso en agosto y luego volveremos cargados de buenas ideas y ánimos desde el lunes 3 de septiembre.

London: Soho adventures and loads more

Good tidings, my travelling friends, are you ready for more London adventures? The students staying with a host family went on an exploring spree to different locations starting with Soho, one of the most intriguing areas in the city. Dare peek? ;-)

SOHO, CHINATOWN AND CANTERBURY

At the residence, more students are having experiences galore around London. The London Eye, a long walk along the Tower Bridge, even a cruise. On Friday 13, a storm caused some problems that were solved with indoor games, but not before a visit to world-famous Camden Town. The weekend wasn't exactly boring as everyone took to the streets.
