Cool tools for English

 

Summer is here, guys, though the weather doesn't seem to agree completeley. Let's not forget that English is still as active as ever in our lives, so why not have a look at some visual and fun tools to keep it up to date these (hopefully) sunny months?

 

CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH has a video up on YouTube that explains the idiom Under the weather in a minute of colourful entertainment.

 

iREGULAR PROJECT is an intensely creative community of volunteer coauthors who explain irregular verbs in an unsual and effectively visual way. You can even take part with your own contributions. Go check it out!

For those of you who will be taking the First exam in 2015, here is an example of the speaking test. Handy!

The best is for last. Cambridge University Press, in conjunction with Discovery Education, have developed an excellent way to combine good stories with technology. The next generation of Readers come embedded with video, audio and interactive exercises.
